We Do It All

Throughout July, this phase includes setting posts on the foundation, finding aspen logs, stripping and preparing them for being set as posts. Placing and framing windows, building stairs, putting in an upstairs floor, gables and windows and framing the roof.

Beginning in August, this phase includes stacking the straw bales around the wooden framework, doors, and windows. Learn how to resize bales, string bales and insert.  Super fun and goes fast.  Wow!

Mid August, once a wall of bales is up, mud plaster can be prepared and applied.  Learn hot to mix mud, spray mud, apply mud and finish the plaster. Fun variations of adding tile, mirrors or rocks for decorations are explored.

 Earth floor or cement bricks, still undecided.  Either way it is a fun thing to learn.   Instruction on the process, materials, options and execution.
