Built in 2010 out or Strawbale, adobe, water solar heat, metal roof, and mud plaster,  this house has endured the 500 year flood in 2012, wind, blizzards and has not had to have any plaster repairs except for an occasional human error, such as leaving the sprinkler directed in the facade and washing the mud away.  It is quite fireproof, quiet, and incredibly comfortable.
